The Moscow branch of Kyiv’s Orthodox church said Friday it changed into cutting again ties with Russia over its invasion of Ukraine, declaring “beefy independence” in a historical transfer against Russia’s spiritual authorities.

“We disagree with the draw of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow… on the battle,” the church said in an announcement after preserving a council thinking Russia’s “aggression” against Ukraine, the build it declared the “beefy independence and autonomy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church”.
