Saradha rip-off: ED attaches sources of P Chidambaram’s wife Nalini, CPM chief Debendranath | India Files

The ED on Friday acknowledged it has attached sources value better than Rs 6 crore of “beneficiaries” like Nalini Chidambaram, wife of worn Union finance minister and Congress chief P Chidambaram, worn CPM MLA Debendranath Biswas and a firm owned by worn Assam minister late Anjan Dutta within the Saradha money laundering case.

A provisional reveal for attaching movable properties value Rs 3.30 crore and immovable sources value Rs 3 crore has been issued under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the federal agency acknowledged in a remark.

These properties possess been owned by the Saradha Neighborhood and a range of of us, who possess been beneficiaries of the “proceeds of crime” generated by the neighborhood, it acknowledged.
