Punjab Congress leaders betrayed their mother for greener, nay, saffron pastures: Warring
PPCC president Amarinder Singh Warring lashed out on the leaders who left the Punjab Congress on Saturday to hitch the saffron brigade. Warring acknowledged the turncoats owe their fresh stature to Congress, which groomed them like a mother, but when it became their flip to reciprocate, they moved to “saffron pastures.”
“Scared, they it sounds as if wanted safe, stable political asylum, somewhere and the BJP supplied it”, Warring acknowledged after its high leaders joined the BJP.

In a valuable setback to the Congress in Punjab, four of its leaders and ragged ministers Raj Kumar Verka, Balbir Singh Sidhu, Sunder Sham Arora, and Gurpreet Singh Kangar joined the BJP on Saturday. Aged Congress MLA from Barnala, Kewal Dhillon, and sitting mayor Amarjeet Singh Sidhu furthermore jumped ship.
