Mehbooba Mufti seeks Jaishankar’s wait on to renew passport; ‘Are desirous to exhaust mother to Mecca’ | India News

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has written to External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar in quest of his intervention within the renewal of her passport, claiming that she has been looking ahead to it for the closing three years. Mehbooba acknowledged that she and her mother applied for passport renewal in March 2020, but the J&K CID gave a file that acknowledged they might undermine nationwide security. She also wrote that it has change into a norm to arbitrarily reject passport purposes.

Within the letter, Mufti also mentioned her daughter and acknowledged that she had applied for passport renewal but that will be getting delayed. Mufti claimed that Passport Situation of job in Srinagar is failing in doing its accountability. She wrote, “My daughter Iltija applied for her passport renewal in June 2022. Her utility too is in limbo and apparently the Passport Situation of job in Srinagar is yet again failing to discharge its accountability.”

Soliciting for Jaishankar’s intervention, she emphasised that for the closing three years, she has been waiting to exhaust her mother on  pilgrimage. Mufti wrote, “For the previous three years, I even had been waiting eagerly to exhaust my mother on a pilgrimage to Mecca. As a daughter, I comprise pained and anguished to be unable to fulfill such a easy favor attributable to petty politics.”
