Kerala rains: IMD disorders crimson alert; college, faculties to dwell shut on Tuesday

Kerala has been witnessing heavy rains over the previous few weeks. The India Meteorological Division (IMD) has now issued a crimson alert in Thiruvananthapuram for two days.
Following the crimson alert announcement made by IMD, district collector Geromic George has declared a vacation for all academic establishments including professional faculties for August 2.
Students must demonstrate that assessments can be performed as per schedule.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has asked folks to be vigilant following the heavy rains within the voice.
“As the India Meteorological Division has warned of heavy rains within the voice for the next five days, folks would possibly perhaps presumably well well furthermore silent be very vigilant,” the Chief Minister acknowledged earlier these days.
Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts are experiencing heavy rains. Water ranges in rivers are rising in many locations.
Many streams overflowed. Earlier within the month of July, the Kannur and Kasargod districts witnessed heavy showers with the rivers of Kasargod overflowing.
Several properties in Kannur collapsed and obtained in part broken attributable to the inundation of rainwater inner. One family had to be shifted from the Payannur municipality attributable to the overflow.
The water ranges of Kadalundi (Malapuram), Bharathapuzha (Palakad), Shiria (Kasargod), Karavannoor (Thrissur) and Gayatri (Thrissur) rivers contain reached the warning level.
