Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday held bilateral talks with US Secretary of Dispute Antony Blinken specializing in bilateral ties and pressing worldwide issues collectively with the Ukraine battle.

The meeting took residence on the sidelines of the India-hosted G20 international ministers’ meeting within the national capital.

It’s understood that the Ukraine battle and India’s agenda for the G20 figured within the talks.

Blinken arrived within the national capital on Wednesday evening to abet the G20 international ministers’ meeting that took residence amid a bitter rift between the West and the Russia-China combine over the Ukraine battle.

Blinken is determined to abet a Quad international ministers’ meeting on Friday.

After attending the fundamental session of the G20 meeting Blinken tweeted: ”I went to the #G20 at the modern time with two imperatives: First, to make certain that the G20 — with India at the helm — advances our shared targets, and 2d, to exhibit how the US, alongside with our companions, is acting to meet the wants of the field.
