DMK condemns Sisodia arrest, accuses BJP of the use of probe businesses as alliance events | India Information

Days after Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia became as soon as arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), DMK chief TR Baalu accused the BJP of the use of central businesses to its political profit. Accusing the saffron celebration of misusing CBI and ED against opposition events, the DMK chief mentioned BJP makes use of these businesses as its ‘alliance events’. Responding to Sisodia’s arrest, the DMK chief mentioned, “If BJP does not let race of its habit of the use of CBI and varied fair businesses for its political manufacture, of us will give a payback within the upcoming 2024 elections.”

The DMK chief’s comments came after AAP chief and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s deputy Manish Sisodia became as soon as arrested by the CBI following seven hours of questioning in connection to the Excise Policy case. Following his arrest on February 26, the Rouse Avenue Court on Monday sent him to 5 days of CBI custody.

Pinarayi Vijayan comes out in toughen of Sisodia  

Earlier, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also condemned the arrest of Manish Sisodia. “The arrest of @msisodia by CBI is one other instance of how @BJP4India misuses the Union Government’s businesses to intimidate the opposition. It be a blatant abuse of vitality and an assault on democracy. Such repression undermines the very foundation of our nation and have to be resisted,” the CPM chief mentioned.

Manish Sisodia moves SC 

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court not easy his arrest by the CBI and the system in which the investigation became as soon as accomplished by the company within the Liquor Rip-off case.
